Today was pure shit. I arrived in school drenched in sweat (naturally and as always) and had everyone staring at the back of my wet uniform during assembly. I was panting like a dog because the weather was crazily hot (or was it only me) and I had to keep pushing my specs up my nose bridge because it kept slipping because I was sweating. Really irritating.

Then during Economics in class, my tutor had the cheek to say that there were only 3 people who did not pass up their Econs assignments. I knew he was talking to (or about) me. So I merely sank deep into my seat. Made a resolution to finish it tonight. Don't think I can though ... because something really important is coming up tomorrow! Then, I arrived extremely late for my GP (General Paper) class because I went to have lunch at the wrong time, during class. It sincerely wasn't my fault because I had had no lunch from the morning until about 2.30pm. Pure hell that was! However, had a very interesting discussion on the purpose of the Arts in society and should the government even fund the arts in Singapore. Knowing the arts activist that I am, I tried to voice out my views succinctly. I don't think I voiced them effectively though. No one actually listened to me. But what the heck. At least I spoke in class. THAT's an accomplishment!

Last period, physical education must have been the worst. Received orders from my history teacher to photocopy some notes and readings for the class immediately after the second last period of the day for Monday's tutorial. Went running around the school like hell trying to photocopy them while my buddies were sweating it out at PE class. Luckily had a classmate to help me. Thank God! The worst thing was when I actually went for PE (like 40 minutes later), I couldn't find them anywhere in the school. Naturally, I assumed that they had gone home and that there was no PE so I did what I thought they had done. I packed up my bag and left the school, only to meet a classmate who informed me that the class had gone jogging around the Ghim Moh neighbourhood. That was why I couldn't find them! Shit. Was in a dilemma for about a second. Then I resolved to do what I had set out to do. I proceeded to go home.

Tomorrow's the General Knowledge Quiz at Yio Chu Kang Grassroots Club. Wish me luck! I'm still however still mugging my history texts and GK books in case I've forgotten some stuff. I'm very excited! Just got some newspaper coverage today in Berita Harian (a daily Malay paper). Apparently, it's quite a prestigious event. I had NO idea. Hope RJC wins. Really. I really want to win. Badly. Because I have to sacrifice my Measure For Measure rehearsals for this so it had better be worth it. Good that you think so. I think so too.
