Yeah, we won the bloody quiz! We actually won. Knew how to answer some questions but refrained from actually voicing them because was afraid I'd get it wrong. For example, what is another galaxy in space that scientists have identified other than the Milky Way? Obviously Andromeda right? Right! Also, what is the term given when prices fall and national income rises? Deflation right? Right! And many others which I will refrain from mentioning. Nice victory though. We beat CJC, ACJC and HCJC to clinch the globular trophy which weighs a ton. Really heavy! Am donating the prize money to school. Noble. Really.
Had a terrific day today. Great new Econs teacher who knows how and what to teach. Really looking forward to her lessons. Am really enjoying Rivals and John Donne lessons. Had lunch and then attended an interesting Econs mock lecture by Mr Reeves on Singapore's GDP and the plethora of Econs questions simply aggravated my intense hatred for the subject. Nonetheless, enjoyable. Have to admit that Econs is like Maths. It's a black and white case: you either understand a topic and soar like a bird or you don't understand it and you can choose to ignore it until you have received enlightenment on the topic by another being. Really hate the subject since most of it I still can't understand. Struggling through John Sloman simply by looking at the cover. Not even opening the book yet. Put off so I switched on the TV to watch a whole load of rubbish. The rubbish I do in life.
Am being bugged by sister on Chemistry. I really hate Chemistry. She knows it too. I've expressed my hatred too many times. Will ask her to shut up her trap but can't do it. So I will simply shut up when she asks me a question. I really hate the subject. Really do. The reason I had such lousy results for O Levels was because of Chemistry. Shit. I really hate it. Hate. Hate. Hate. Is hate one of the 7 sins? Whatever. Nothing can make me part from my hatred from Chemistry. Really.
