Unplugged

The 80s up to the early 90s was the peak of my musical experiences. Over the years, I've forgotten most of the songs I listened to , but some have stayed stuck in my brain. I play them once in a while, so I thought "why not just record them"? Recently, I had some time in my hands so I decided to remake them using my own arrangements. Since I now only play classical guitar, it just makes sense to perform acoustic renditions ala unplugged version.

Enough intro already...

Tanging Yaman (Only Treasure)

I remember this song from my choir days at EDSA Shrine in the Philippines. I multi-tracked my voice and guitars. After a hundred tries, I think this version approximates the composer's original vocal arrangements. (Of course it would have been better if I can sing in tune...but that's another story). 11/28/2006

More Than Words (sample)

Well, this is neither classical nor is this an instrumental piece. I just have no place to put this so here is where it stays. I had been fiddling around with multi-track recording and this song is a good one to experiment with. Since I play the solo guitar, there's not much to multi-track except if I do a duet or ensemble, which I have never tried.
