High on a hill, in a corner of a rather, smug, self-satisfied country (though dear, for all of that),
on a small planet circling a rather insignificant star located in a 'backwater' arm of a minor galaxy, sat a
middle aged woman annoyed enough at TPTB that she was spitting brass tacks. As long as she was spitting them,
she thought she might as well aim them at a picture of a grotesquely misshapen woman in a corset, with what
looked like the coupling ring from a toilet mount firmly attached to her eye. A few bullseyes right on the
bazooms made the middle aged woman
feel remarkably better. That's when she had a thought.

As Voyager drew to a close, and the weepin'
and the wailin' and the cries of "Why? Why now? Why HER?" could be
heard in ponds throughout the planet, the thought came to her. (That's 'one' thought
in seven years, which puts her way ahead of the writers that get paid for churning out
this stuff.) Where was I? Ah, yes...the thought. Why wait? Why wait until 'Season Eight'
to take back this program? Consider this a preemptive strike.
|
And so, with no further ado,
paying 'homage' to our illustrious Captain's thespian beginnings
and carrying on in the tradition that TPTB have established for 'Voyager'
(ie. improbable plots, erratic and irrational characterizations)
may I present:
