There is a lot of stuff out there more bizzarre than the knives I'm posting here, but these are strange in their own way. The first is a coilspring switchblade with an ice pick that is a gravity drop. The second is made from AK47 machine gun parts. Next is a left handed Gebr.Grafrath made by Hubertus(should be an umlaut over the first a), and last is the Hubertus Angler, which I just found out recently are still in production in limited quantities. The "whacker"/scaler is the auto blade on this knife and the blade is manual. Some of these scans are extra poor, I will try to get some better photos at some point. The feature photo is a Case Mini Copperlock that has been converted to a dual action switchblade. This was dubbed "The Church Knife" by my friends Brad W. and Phil M. at the Parker show in Pigeon Forge , Tenn. where they surfaced in Dec.1999. Pressing the shield activates the blade, or you can open it nomally. "A switchblade you could take to church" |
