    Than Mayom Waterfalls
Koh Chang National Park, consisting of 52 islands, has Koh Chang (also referred to as Elephant Island) as Thailand's second largest island after Phuket, and the most important tourist attraction of the park. Koh Chang contains many delightful beaches on its western coast, such as the famed White Sand Beach, Aow Praw Beach and Kai Bare Beach. The island has two large waterfalls known as Mayom and Mekhala.
Koh Chang, Thailand's second largest island after Phuket, is still rich with nature and is one of th most popular tourist attractions in the Eastern Region. Apart from white sandy beaches, it boasts the threetiered Than Mayom Waterfalls, whose cascades are a sight to behold in the rainy season when water is plentifuk. It is, however, dry in the hot season. Another waterfall, the Klong Plu Waterfall, is larger but is hidden futher away in the forest. Because of its beautiful natural scenery, Kings Rama V, VI and VII, as well as His Majesty the King, have all paid a visit to the island.
Other most attractive islands are Koh Loa Ya, Koh Wai, Koh Chang Noi, Koh Mai Sie Yai, Koh Rang and Koh Ngam.
