BIRDING IN TAIWAN

Birding in Taiwan

The biggest problem most people encounter when planning a trip to Taiwan is the lack of information in English. I have helped many people organize their birding trips here, and on some cases have even accompanied them to various places. However, as I will no longer be in Taiwan while attending college in the United States, I have set up this website to assist people who will be visiting Taiwan in the future. Indeed, Taiwan is a beautiful place that should attract the attention of any serious world birder. Whether you are in Taiwan for a business trip or a planned vacation, there is always some room for a bit of birding. Unfortunately, due to the volume of information I intend to put on this site, this site will probably be under construction for a very long time. There are many broken links here, and most of them are probably already written up on scrap paper, but I just haven't had the time to type them up. Anyone is welcomed to e-mail me if you have any questions, and I will try my best to answer them while I'm in college. If you plan your trip to Taiwan during winter or summer break, I may be in Taiwan to meet you in person and go birding with you. Again, just e-mail me.
