How Can You Help Save Our Estuaries in Louisiana?


* Let President Clinton know how you feel about Louisiana's valuable wetlands, and why they ar important to you.

* Volunteer to help plant marsh grasses to help slow down erosion.

* Start an envrionmental club at your school.

* Observe size and quantity limits for recreational fish species.

* Participate in the annual Trash Bash and Beach Sweep.

* Don't litter, and when boating in the estuary, don't dump waste overboard.

* Converve Water

* Don't dump waste down storm drains

* Use low-phosphate detergents

* Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

* Visit the Barataria-Terrebonne National Estuary Program on the world wide web at www.btnep.org.
