That soldier I was talking about yesterday, from the jump? He's fine...no broken bone, no spinal injury. Just a little rough around the edges.

I got a hard confirmation on my school in Virginia, from 15 Apr to 19 Apr.

On 20 Apr I am seeing Garbage in Cleveland, OH. :) With my new taping rig that no-one wanted to buy ;) If I can't manage Maynard, at least I can get Shirley! :) :)

I got an email from Dan today, out of the blue. I think he got a hardship chapter to deal with his family issues from the outside...he left a civilian address and he's been removed from the World Wide (Military) Locator. Go Dan! If I'm lucky I'll get to see him next month, as *well* as Mig. 

Anyway...should be a good trip...one I think I deserve!

Today I tipped the scales at just over 170...finally! Only ten more pounds to go. That should only take...oh...eight to ten months. ;( (ok, so that could be construed as a mini bitch. deal.)

Also today, I found out that a relative from Czech Republic distilled (or even, distills!) a variety of Rum...some guy who has a Rum bottle collection posted on the net had a picture of a label. I emailed him to get some info...

Some of the things you can find under your name on a web search are really cool...well...assuming you have an unusual, out of the ordinary name. I doubt <a href="http://www.livejournal.com/users/jentwo/">jentwo</a> would have much luck (ed note:  I meant to say that she would have too much to wade through...). Heh ;P Sorry hun.

The re-enlistment people are already trying to "get" me. Right now I have a Staff Sergeant bent towards a nearly impossible task...getting me an assignment opportunity in California, where I think, at most stretching it to include ALL reserves posts and recruting command nad even Fort Irwin... there are 3 or 4 slots I could fill. I told her if she could do that I might consider re upping. Heh. emphasis on the MIGHT **CONSIDER**. Heh.

And to top it all off...still no indication that I'll hafta work this weekend.

I agree with Jen, but there is so much there, it's almost overwhelming. 

All thoughout school, there was another girl with the same first, middle and last name as mine. The school was always screwing things up...getting us confused.

There was another girl in college with the same name also. Although to my knowledge, nothing was messed up there. :)
