oh...I "talked" to my dad. He said it's OK that I skip Bay to Breakers next year. I had sort of promised that I would run it with him after I got out of the service. The problem is it conflicts with my trail plans since it's on May 18th.
I also thereby cememted the fact that he *does* understand that I'm not just planning a short little jaunt.
