123 days to go.

I was richly rewarded for my act by getting stuck in a boring, three hour meeting, of which my part was only fifteen minutes that made me stay in BDUs until 2:30 PM (it was supposed to be a half day today...) Death by Powerpoint. Blehck. :P

I got home, putzed around, then crawled into bed for a delightful nap with abby curled up next to me, purring away as I petted her. I got back up from what consisted of mostly laying there playing with the cat around 6PM for dinner... The highlight of my evening (and my day, really) was going out for sushi...I'd been eyeing this particular resteraunt for the entire time I've been here, but never gone (it's really cool...they have this conveyor belt set up that goes around in a circle. You sit on the outer part while the chefs prepare the fresh sushi inside the circle...they drop the sushi on small plates that then circle the room. You just pick the plates you want (different colors plates are different prices) off the belt and when you're done, they have scanners that scan the color of your plates (i shit you not) and then give you a total.

I've never gone before because D hates fish, and he's my first choice as a dinner companion. Resteraunts are one of those establishments I don't like to go to alone...go figure...I'll go to a movie alone, but not dinner (less you count fast food). anyway. Called up a dive buddy who said he'd go with...and then i promptly lose him in traffic on the way there, so i ended up going alone anyway. LOL. All this time I'd held off going alone...only to go alone once I finally have a friend that wanted to go with me anyway.

Life is fucking nuts. Just NUTS I tell you.

OH, and one more thing..._The Two Towers_ is showing out here next week! Wahoo! Only one more week of waiting!

Yay for sushi! That sounds like a neat place. What did you eat?

I'm like you--I will usually only go to a fast food place alone. Two exceptions tho, when I worked at Hallmark. A wonderful Mexican place...and a great Chinese place that were in the same shopping center. I'd go there for my breaks alone.

I'm saving a ton of money now b/c of it. Although lately, I've been going to Jack in the Box for Sourdough Jacks. Hmm..lunch is in 30 minutes. That sounds good. :)

let's see...I had salt fried eel, fatty tuna, shrimp, crab, black kingfish, and a few other varieties I can't remember...all very wonderful food :)

When I was in college, I used to deliver food for a chinese resteraunt over summer exodus...i had chinese food about five nights a week :) yum!

and jack in the box...grrr...I miss jack in the box. When i went back to the states in october I ate at jack in the box three times!
