Gloria, Wendy and Heather approach life with energy and enthusiasm. Professionally, they are dedicated and
resourceful -- Gloria with her focus on sales and marketing, Wendy with her work in the technology department
at Edmonton Public Schools, and Heather while she worked as a teacher at Leduc Jr. High. Work was always
done with purpose and innovation. It wasn't a surprise then, when parenthood came their way, they approached
it with the same passion and commitment.
While their kids were young, they joined a Mom's group that met one morning a week. It was always a time for
visiting and connecting. Challenges were discussed, ideas were shared, problems were solved and triumphs were
celebrated. As a group, they constantly recognized the value of sharing ideas and helping each other during
this phase of parenting. So many great ideas were discussed; they'd often hear as part of the conversation,
'We ought to write a book!' And so, it all began…

The sharing has continued as their kids have gone from playschool to elementary, and onto junior and senior high.
Throughout this time, Gloria, Wendy and Heather have focused their creative energy on Raising Kids…for
the fun of it!

"Initially, I joined 'Mom's Morning Out' when the kids were small so they could get together
with other kids their own age. But, I stayed with the group for my own benefit-it grew
to be an important support system."
