My Formal Educational Background - In Chronological Order

I started my primary education in London (U.K.) at the Cann Hall Junior School and continued at the Cann Hall Junior School.

Our family migrated to India and I continued my primary education in Bishop Cotton School, Nagpur & St. Pius X High School, Kuttikanam, Idukki Dist, Kerala.

However my true Alma Mater, where I completed six years of Middle & Secondary Education culminating in the ICSE - Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (Class X) Examination - at The Bishops School, Pune.

I then moved to Mumbai where I joined the Junior College Section of the SIES College, Sion, Mumbai where I have completed my HSC - Higher Secondary Certificate (Standard XII) in Science.

I went on to the Senior College Section of the SIES College, Sion, Mumbai to complete my graduation in Chemistry, earning my B.Sc. (Chemistry) Degree of the University of Bombay (now University of Mumbai).

Subsequently I have done a Post Graduate Diploma in Tourism & Travel Management (ADTTIM) at the Garware Institute - Mumbai University.

Later I have done the Post Graduate WebPro Programme (from IIS Websity - now Xansa Websity) and am a fully qualified webmaster, trained also in Multimedia.

A number of smaller courses and training programmes have also served to enhance my knowledge and skills in multiple domains.

My Professional Background - In Chronological Order

I started out as a Trainee Research Chemist with Technova Imaging Systems (I) Ltd., today India's leading Imaging Solutions company, with an extensive product range of material for the Printing, Graphic Arts and related industries. I was involved with laboratory research, in a project to set up processes to indigenously manufacture critial chemicals in-house, as a research and analytical chemist.

A strong interest in Travel drew me to the Travel Industry, where on completion of the Advanced Diploma in Tourism & Travel Management from the Garware Institute, Mumbai University, including the completion of a successful training stint, I joined Cox & Kings (I) Ltd., the worlds oldest travel company, located in Fort, Mumbai as a Executive - Leisure Travel, and was primarily focussed with Sales and promotion of Outbound Travel Products for passengers and local Travel Agents to various countries. My interest and indepth knowledge in travel & tourism however allowed me to contribute in numerous areas such as operations, planning, costing, product development and contributions to improvements in systems.

I made my foray into Web Content, Technologies & Design, for a gerater wish to work closely with information and its management. I was with Cyberdex Thinking Solutions, a software development firm (focussed on ERP, Business and Web solutions), located in MIDC Marol, Andheri (East), Mumbai as a Senior Programmer - Web, Design & Content. I was responsioble for quality and testing, and also in liaison with the customer to determine the final specifications, best suited to meet the client requirements. The team developed several Websites. Also I was involved in Creation of Multimedia Presentations. I also worked on User Documentation and GUI Design work related to Cyberdex's Business Related Software Solutions.

I worked briefly with the Indian BPO Industry, and I was at WiproSpectramind providing Technical Support to customers of the leading ISP in the U.S. and later at Sutherland Global Services providing Technical Support to U.S. customers of one of the worlds leading Computer Corporation in the domains of Hardware and Operating Systems.

I moved to MindfleX Solutions (I) Pvt. Ltd., where I joined as a Quality Leader. MindfleX Solutions is an emerging IT firm with a host of IT solutions, with a focus on streamlining and effective IT enabling of systems. Work areas involve R & D in Design & Development of a varied range of Customised Solutions, including Functional & UI Design, Deployment of Global Standards & Related User Documentation.
