| This is the river we had to cross with bikes and all our stuff, as our road was completely washed away in a landslide. We were told by two locals that the road continued passed the landslide, on the other side of the river. They also helped us carry our stuff from one bank of the river to the other. You can see one of them carrying my bike along the bank in this picture. |

| Here's Ed just having crossed the river with some of our stuff. We were a bit nervous crossing, as the current was quite strong, and not far from where we were the water rushed down into a 50ft waterfall. |

| Here's Ed on the other bank just after we crossed the river. You can see our road to his right as well. We were hoping that the hard part of our day was over now, that the road would get better and we would make it to our destination town by nightfall. But this was not to be.... |
