| The Mekong River. I took this picture as I sat in a little open air restaurant on its bank, in Louang Prabang. It was late afternoon and the restaurant was empty but for me. Ed was back at the hotel, sick with dysintery, and I came out by myself to get something to eat. After the strenuous bikeriding through the mountains, with Ed being really sick, sitting here and watching the water go by was a peaceful and welcome respite. |
