How babies are made
Babies start their lives on trees. There are many different species of baby-trees - for example, black baby-trees, white baby-trees, and asian baby-trees. Each gender is also grown on a seperate tree.

When the autumn comes around, the babies are ripe for harvesting. Their stalks snap, and they fall to the ground, to be collected up by the farmer. This farmer pulls the stalks off (leaving just a bellybutton) then packages them in those little plastic trays, and sends them off to the mail-order-baby shop.

From the mail-order-baby shop, many different baby appliances can be ordered - for example, a baby-on-a-rope (a fine quality baby on a rope), dancing babies, and microwave-safe babies.

I have managed to secure a picture from one of the nurserys, as you can see, there are quite a lot of new babies ready to start growing into fully fledged baby-trees. The farmer (seen near the top left here) is checking the babies to make sure they'll survive the winter. If not, they'll be taken indoors and carefully looked after untill they are strong enough to be planted outside. Regretably I am not able to divulge the location of this particular nursery for obvious reasons.
