What are we about ............well we are a group of Air-gunners who like to shoot at real targets for the most part ,but we also like to keep our eye in and have some fun at the same time.We shoot at targets that present us with the  Hunter  mode ...in other words it is simulated hunting; only difference is nothing gets hurt and we don't have to field dress the quarry ! What do we shoot ? We shoot a varied quarry species....most of which are inanimate animal silhouettes with a kill zone similar in size to that of REAL quarry it is approx. 50mm in diameter although for the sharpshooter types we have smaller targets. The targets as I said vary from silhouettes to spinners , these are placed at strategic points along the selected venue. For instance ...if we are shooting in a wooded area your highly unlikely to get a rabbit up in a tree now are you ?..so watch out for the Crows and Pigeons and Magpies or the occasional Grey Squirrel . Ground quarry consists of the humble and yet favourite quarry of most Air-gunners the Rabbit,and of course the Rat . What do we shoot with? We shoot our OWN guns , as it is not permissible by Law to shoot someone elses gun , unless we too have a Loans certificate on that said gun.(I Shall include gun laws and firearms licensing later.) These guns can be either Spring or Pneumatic they can also be ANY calibre(within reason....no 9 mm for instance )and they can be ANY power up to legal limits ( NO D.I.Y power adjustments) Where ?well we used to shoot at "The Goodyear Social Club", then we moved to "The BANNVILLE HOUSE HOTEL" (nr Banbridge) ,,,,now we are on the move again.
