Kerala the land of overwhelming greenery. It is a coastal strip sandwiched  between misty hills of the western ghats covered with dense tropical forests in the east and  long 

charming shore lines of Arabian sea in west. Kerala is famous for it's breath taking natural beauty. With its evergreen mountains, dense forests, stately palms, swift flowing rivers, extensive backwaters and blue lagoons, it looks like a fairy land.

 

 

 spectacular art forms, colourful festivals, fascinating history and a wealth of unique culture and traditions. It is better known as God's own country. 

In the early Christian era, a dynasty called the Cheras were the predominant rulers here. Kerala had trade connections 

with the Middle East from time immemorial. Vasco da Gamma the Portuguese seafarer, the first European to land in this rich subcontinent anchored at a port in Kerala. The Dutch and English followed the suit.
