Explanation: In this chapter, you will be introduced to the Ankh. An Ankh, traditionally, is the ancient Egyptian symbol for eternal life. It looks life a cross, but instead at the top there is a loop. You have seen one before, trust me, they’re everywhere. Ancient Pharaohs would be buried with them. On their tombs gold Ankhs were carved.
Silly, if you think about it. A symbol of eternal life on your gravestone, ridiculous… The Ankh: “Alright, we have all the dragon balls! Ca’mon, Piccolo, call the dragon forth!”
“Fine, fine.” Piccolo murmured a few ancient Namekian words. Suddenly the sky grew black and the balls glowed with anticipation (hehehe) of the dragon.
In a burst of light Shenlong, the Ball’s dragon, appeared above the tiny remaining Z gang and called:
“You have 2 wishes. Wish them!”
“Great Dragon,” began Piccolo, “We wish to know how we may, in detail, defeat Tarnak the Immortal.”
“Wisely worded, little green man. To defeat an immortal, one must be immortal. When one is immortal, one has the powers of an immortal.
“Deep within the ruins of an ancient Egyptian tomb is a sacred Ankh. That Ankh makes its barer immortal. With this ring you can defeat Tarnak.
“But there is a catch: only a human may wear the ring and one must have a massive ki to be able to access the Ankh’s powers. One would have to be both saiyen and human to wear it. HAHAHAHAHAHa, good luck.”
“FUCK!” Screamed Yamcha.
“Is there any other way to defeat Tarnak, Great Dragon?”
“No.”
“FUCK!” yelled Piccolo in frustration. “Then all of this was for nothing!”
“No it wasn’t.” said Vegeta softly.
“What do you mean?”
“There is a way. When saiyens bond they connect with blood. If I were to bond with a human then we would be each other. A saiyen bond is a soul, blood, and mind bonding. I would be part of this human, so I would be both saiyen and human. Since there are no more saiyen females and to accomplish this it must be done with a human I will live with a one-sided bond for the rest of my life because humans can not bond themselves back.”
“Whoah-ho! The mighty saiyen figured out my little riddle. I’m impressed.” Boomed Shenlong.
“You would be willing to bind yourself like that to some woman just to save the earth? That is really heroic, in a really messed up way.” Spoke Bulma.
“Yea, Vegeta. I misjudged you, kinda. Who are you going to pick to‘bond’ to? What kind of girl are you lookin’ for, ca’mon it’s time for guy talk.” Said the hormone filled Yamcha.
“Idiot, if I do this, I will bond with Bulma.”
“WHAT!” screamed both Yamcha and Bulma in shock and surprise, Piccolo saw it coming.
“We don’t have time to search this pathetic planet for a worthy enough mate for me. The woman is only one of you I could ever stand to be around with, she will be sufficient.”
“Do I get a say in this?” demanded the indignant lady.
“Of course you do, Bulma. And she says HELL NO!” hollered Yamcha.
“Wait a minute, this is a matter of billions of lives and billions of deaths. I have to think about this. Vegeta? What exactly does ‘bonding’ entail?” asked Bulma.
“It should mean that you are my mate or what you would call ‘wife.’ But I do not believe in rape so without the sex you would be my mate, for life. I would be connected to you in mind and soul, without sex we could not be connected in body. You could no longer associate with Yamcha like you have been; you will not be permitted to touch. You are mine, no man will be able to touch you or I will rip his balls off, set them on fire, and shove them down his mercy pleading throat.” Explained Vegeta while giving Yamcha dangerous looks.
“What do you mean by ‘connected in mind and soul’?”
“I would feel what you feel and know your memories. Should you agree to this I promise I would never hurt you and always protect you.”
She was backed in a corner. The world would suffer if she didn’t bond with Vegeta. She couldn’t be selfish. One to suffer is better than billions.
“Fine, I’ll do it.”
