Rate or Hate where's it been?
Here's my dirge for the weekend.
Q: Most over-rated band in the history of time?
A: Pearl Jam.
I challenge you to find me a band as ridiculously famous and revered, that writes music that is even more derivitive, plodding, dull hackneyed crap containing just as many inane pretentious lyrics with little if any flow whatsoever than the mighty Jam.
To the victor, if there is a victor because it's subject to my opinion of course, goes the prize of my own humility. Nothing more (but what more could you want?).
By the way im serious about this. I genuinely think pearl jam are just plain woeful and deserve to have gone the way that Creed seem to be going (ie one critically derided hit and into obscurity). They provide all other woeful bands out there with hope to go on and fulfill their dunken groupie dreams.
