Undercover Brother

This movie had the potential to be a cult comedy classic (try saying that three times quickly!) but alas... it isn't. Could have been about, oh, a hundred times better than it is. Eddie Griffin can do no wrong in my book, what with his stellar roles in Deuce Bigalow and The New Guy (not being sarcastic), and he holds up his end of this movie pretty well. But he is let down by some rather lame-@ss jokes and awful support acting (eg. his white nemesis is just appalling). Way too many flat spots, nowhere near enough high points, and sometimes the movie just has the look and feel of a Saved By The Bell episode.

I wish I could love it, and sure it's got a few good jokes and plenty of Parliament songs and references but I've gotta give it a...
