Welcome...to my inner circle.
FINALLY....
I have a journal! *does a dance* I SERIOUSLY doubt this will be updated all that often, but I decided, what the hey, I'll give whoever wants it a glance into my life.
21 August, 2003
I have recently gotten back from Cleveland, Ohio....my first trip there in about five years. I went with my mom to see family....AND I went to a baseball game ((GO INDIANS!!)) AND took in a concert. *looks innocent* Now, I know, I know...You're going to ask me who I molested this time. Well, no one. *grins* But I DID meet the other half of Seether that I missed last time in Lubbock. So, actually, now I know the WHOLE band.
I tell you, when you meet your favorite band, it's always awesome. I tripped out when I looked around the corner and saw Dale Stewart talking to some fans and signing autographs...I knew that I could meet him...so I ran up and said "Dale!" *laughs* Yup....it was a fun time. APPARENTLY - he told me this, so I have no clue if he was telling the truth or not - but apparently he remembered seeing me at the show they played in Lubbock with Trapt. My position on this? How could he NOT remember me? I was standing DIRECTLY in front of him in the front row ROCKING. OUT. HARD.
I thought things couldn't get any better...until I heard a guy say, "Hey! Nice shirt!" I, of course, look at my shirt and look up...to see Pat Callahan coming my way! HOLY HELL! Okay, I know I say this an awful lot, but Pat is GORGEOUS! In Seether's video for Driven Under, I thought he was cute...but seeing him in person...and I did stand in front of him while they were on stage that night...and then meeting him...dear GODS Pat is gorgeous! The rest of Seether is gorgeous as well, but WOW. PAT! Soon after I started chatting up Pat, my mom comes up behind me. (Yes, I took her with me. My cousin backed out at the last minute, and I knew I'd never go otherwise. Besides, she loves Seether and 3 Doors Down. Now, after the concert, she ALSO loves Shinedown and hates Our Lady Peace. *cries over OLP*) MOM kidnaps Pat's attention, and then Seether's guitar tech comes up to us and starts chatting right along with us.
The first remark from him being, "Wow! Sisters!" Mom and I look at each other and then she gives him a hug, proclaiming him to be her 'new best friend.' *LOL* I love my Mom. She's a blast. I do say that she is still a teenager at heart. Anyway...I just wish I could thank Seether for making my first trip back to Cleveland in five years a memorable one! (As if that huge blackout wasn't enough)
Another band that amazed me at that show was Shinedown...who is indeed the background and layout for my journal. These guys kick MAJOR ass! I just got the CD two days ago, and I am LOVING it!
Okay, that's enough for now. I'll write *less* in the next entry! Maybe.
