BITS n PIECES:

Eddie came into this world with the name of
Edward Louis Severson III. With his real father
having divorced his mother before Eddie was 2,
he was led to believe that his stepfather was
his real father, and that he had 3 full brothers.
For the first couple of decades of his life Eddie
was known as Eddie Mueller [step-father's name].
It was after his mother's divorce that Eddie took
up his mother's maiden name, Vedder.
Although he was born in Evanston, his family moved
to San Diego when Eddie was 8 [or thereabouts].
Attended San Dieguito High but moved back to
Chicago before graduation to be with his family.
Eddie did complete his high school equivalency
degree .. eventually”=)
After a coupla years in Chicago, he moved back
to San Diego in '84. By then he had ambitions as a
singer/songwriter.
Eddie worked as a hotel security guard and
petroleum-station attendant while he was in San
Diego.
Publishing name "Innocent Bystander".
Was a member of TEMPLE OF THE DOG.
Appeared in the movie "SINGLES". His line:
"a compliment for us, is a compliment for you".
Eddie's the resident typist” =)
Does Pearl Jam's album art.
Has a luRRv for vinyl and THE WHO.
