Fansub=Subtitle translated by Fans and sub quality range from very good~excellent and some old dramas with poor sub.
TV Rip=Ripped from TV, normally from local channel & have almost perfect or perfect sub. Beware of Arriang version that has dual on-screen sub if you don't want to read Spanish & English at the same time.
Drama trade 1:1 means (1 burnt DVD/CD = 1 burnt DVD/CD), blank trades 1:3 means (1 burnt DVD/VCD=3 blank DVDs/CDs)

For Japanese Dramas: Many ENGLISH SUBBED ONES are downloaded & fan subbed. Generally speaking, the Sub is normally Very good ~ Almost Perfect. PIC quality is a different story and some are in Data Files and won't play in home DVD Players. SO PLS beware. There are also "Malay Retail" - Distributed as "DVD Version" by Mpeg that have decent~Excellent Subs.

Trade 411:
1-Provide your trade link w/request for trade. Include # of Disc/Pic quality/Sub Quality.
2-Notify traders for shipment delay or shortage.
3-When traders ask for Fuji DVD+R, DO NOT send Sony. Get OK first.
4-We normally trade with what we have. Don't Ask: Can you Get for me?
5-While it's OK to ask for recommendation, do your own research on drama plots & actors.
6-Use trackable delivery confirmation.
7-DO NOT copy BEFORE trade is confirmed/finalized.
8-Ask for preferred Brand/format (DVD-R vs DVD+R)and method of shipping : Priority Mail (2~3 Days)vs Media Mail (4~9 days) vs First Class Mail(2~5 days). 9-Check References!!! While it's important for traders to deliver, it's as vital when replacement is needed!! Beware of the ones that shy away problems!! Use public forum like www.jdorama.com or www.koreanfilm.org to work things out.
10-Last but not least..invest in a good burner!! Highly recommend NEC & Pioneer burners.
