RECAP ON FEB. 28 RECORDING
Finally four members of the band got together on a sunny yet breezy Saturday afternoon to continue their work on their Demo CD. The day started with a prayer giving thanks to our Lord for His mercy and love. After a few sharing, the recording began. The session went really well. Tracks for the drums, rhythm guitars and lead guitars were recorded on that day with the keyboard and bass tracks to follow. The chemistry and fellowship was great. 3 songs were recorded last Saturday (Redeemed, Because I Found You and Fortress). Plus the 2 from the last session namely, "Flesh" and "Follow", all in all 5 songs have already been started. Although not yet in the bag, additional tracks for all songs will be added just for fine tuning. Next scheduled session will be on Saturday, March 13. God willing vocal tracks will be added and maybe a few kinks here and there. What a great and wonderful feeling doing what you like best and at the same time doing service for the Lord. God is good!

Hi guys,

I must say I was very pleased with our recording yesterday.

Jemar, you had a good idea for Inside and Fortress with the guitar fills.

Joey, I went to the website and I am really impressed with what you did. I can see your dedication and commitment to the band. I am really inspired with what you did. I also like the symbol you made for StillWater with the S around the cross.

Guys, let's finish this so we can expose our music to the public. With God, all things are possible.

i knew it that our recording will be successful, the last time we practice kasi kina Kuya Joey everything is organized kasi at ayos na ang lahat bago pa tayo dumating, one thing about Kuya Joey is organized siya, matagal ko na napansin yun eh, kahit yung mga music sheets kumpleto siya ng lahat ng songs natin, i know if we can just spend more time practicing and recording stuff mas gagaling at gaganda ang tugtugan natin.

i know marami tayong magagawa together, kahit di tayo magkakasama ng buo kahit part part lang ng Stillwater ang mag-practice marami tayong magagawa, mahirap talaga magschedule na magkakasama tayong lahat but we also need one day na magkakasama nga tayo lahat, but mas ok nga yung kahit yung ilang members muna then sunod na lang ang iba, like what we did, may narecord na mga songs na so madali na para sa mga singers magrecord, see you all soon, God Bless.
