Teams are rated on three factors: average runs scored, average runs allowed, and winning percentage. Each of these is weighted by the team's strength of schedule, which is determined from the opponent's average winning percentage and their opponent's average winning percentage. The combination of the three weighted factors produces an overall rating. |
