MLACHSTICACHAGA!!!!!

  • Which basically translates to, DAMN IT!

After witnessing that awful loss on Saturday in person, I decided to take yesterday off as far as an update went. That game was a giveaway and I would have had nothing nice to say, so onto yesterday.

UGH! Derek, Derek, Derek, DEREK!!!!! He was actually pitching very well, he even had Jermaine Dye on the ropes (making him look silly) then one bad pitch, one hangar, and it's back to UH-OH Lowe.

It was weird though, if you read my update on Thursday's game you'll remember that I said something about knowing Lowe would be fine coming into a 1-0 game vs the Twins, and he was. Well after Rolando Arrojo just mowed down KC in the eighth with the Sox in the lead 8-7 yesterday, I got another one of 'those feelings'. One that said if Lowe comes in, something bad might happen. I hate it when I'm right.

I won't question Jimy taking Arrojo out and putting Lowe in. Even if he wanted to keep Rolando in there he did pitch four innings on Friday, but who knows. What I will question are the following things.

    1. Why pinch hit Darren Lewis for Troy O'Leary when you have Dante Bichette on the bench?

    2. Why allow Mike Lansing to bat for himself with runners in scoring position and two-out (late in the game) if you have Dante Bichette on the bench?

    3. Why late in the game do you pinch hit Craig Grebeck (the worst hitter on the team) when you have Dante Bichette on the bench?

    4. Why allow Craig Grebeck to hit when you have the winning run on base and Dante Bichette on the bench?

What the hell was Jimy doing yesterday? I'm so perplexed I can't even eloborate.

Yesterday's game was ours and by losing it we did four things:
    1. We have to let it fester since we don't play until tomorrow.
    2. We let another get away (Derek) and could be 20-5 instead of 16-9 in April.
    3. For the first time all season we lost two in a row.
    4. We head to the West Coast to face the hottest team in the game, Seattle, on a bad note.

It's April Paul (me), calm down.
