Yep, this is fun

  • Let me get this straight, Nomar comes back, which makes it license for everyone to completely stop hitting and go in the tank? Scott Schoeneweise? I don't care that he's a lefty (which we've now lost 7 in a row against), even with his innings last night his ERA is now 4.80. That's awful, and there's no excuse.

Yes there's still plenty of time left, but now we're back 4 1/2 games, and the further we fall the sooner I'll have to start posting the Wild Card standings instead of the divisional.

With the pathetic display of the last two nights we now need to win tonight and take 3 of 4 from Texas in order to call this any kind of successful home stand.

Yeah I'm sure I'm overreacting a bit, but damn it, why can't we string a few games together anymore? Heck, when was the last time we put any kind of streak together?

Pedro can only pitch one game a week (when healthy) and I know his absence is affecting the pen, but the last two nights have been no fault of the pen (even with Guapo's gopher ball), 2 and 3 runs are NOT enough to win ball games.

That's it from me today, just win damn it!
