  • So when does football season start? That's all we'll have to look forward to in a few days if this keeps up.

I love our ability to make even the worst pitchers look like Cy Young. It was discussed on the message board yesterday, how simply awful Dave Burba has been this year. Yep, leave it to our Sox to get him back on track.

I really don't even feel like talking about anything, it's been the same pattern all season. Go into a funk, show a glimmer of hope, funk again. Why will it magically change for the last month of the season and all of a sudden we'll start winning on a consistant basis?

0-1 to start a stretch we need to go a minimum of 8-5 and specifically 3-3 vs the Tribe and 5-2 vs NY. I'm not giving up, I'm too gullible to do something smart like that, but last night's performance doesn't exactly fill me with confidence.
