I'm sick of it! Sick of watching, sick of listening, sick of cheering (wanting to cheer). I have tickets to tonight's game and I don't even want to go. I already know what's going to happen. Rogah is on the mound, we'll load the bases up in the early going with one out, fail to score (pop-out and a wiff), and then we'll get a base runner in each inning after only to hit into several DPs and wiff the night away. Sounds like a load of fun. Due to the pathetic performance over the last five days, of the remaining seven against NY we now have to win a minimum of six and more like all seven if we want to have a realistic chance of passing them. But since just winning one of those seven is unrealistic, it looks like the only mission for the reaminder of the year will be to stay above .500. We're 6-8 since Joe K has taken over, not blaming him, but maybe now inbicile Duquette will realize that it wasn't the manager that sucked, but the personell he was given. What's really sad is that to start this year I'd say we were all more optimistic than any season in recent memory, and for as bad as last years team was, they at least were still in it when September started. Pack up the bus, it's time to go home. |
