Pedro Martinez: What can I say? What can be said? DOMINATION! The Line-Up: I kind of liked it last night, the batting order especially. Nobody really seemed out of place. My only change would have been to flip-flop Val and Trot and of course KEEP BICHETTE IN THE GAME. I'd love to see something similar today, and add Bichette, but who knows with Jimy. John Valentin: I think that may have been the single greatest play I have ever seen a Red Sox player make. I know I'm biased (Johnny V is my favorite Red Sox), but knowing his ailment, seeing that flat out horizontal dive, and then to actually turn the DP? Wow! Jason Varitek: Love Tek batting low in the order like that. Obviously he's on our good side today with that 3-run blast yesterday. But 8 or 9, Tek should simply not bat higher than that. Manny Ramirez: Dah! Derek Lowe: Got us out of another big jam. The Lowe of April would have given up a three-run jack to tie it. The new Lowe, the 2000 Lowe, came in and shut the door. That's all I have time for, but again it's better than the usual Saturday nothing. Nomo today, need a big start out of him. |
