Hmmmm... No I wouldn't describe it that way. Yes, we went 4-2, which translates to 2 out of every 3 games, which in turn is .667 ball. That percentage is great you say, and it is, you win 2 of every 3 and you're unstoppable. My beef is that we should have gone 6-0 on the trip. You say you can't ask for perfection? Why not? I've decided I'm going to be the most demanding than I ever have this season. I want my magical season, we all deserve one, and damn if I'm not going to get it this year. OK, so I sound a bit dillusional right now, but think about it. We really should have taken all six of those games. That said, I demend nothing less than a sweep of the D-Rays. These are the games we have to win. The Empire is spending two weeks with teams from the left coast, this is the time to build some space between us and them, beacuse in two weeks the roles will be reversed. So no settling for 2 of 3 or 3 of 4, we need them all. STOP BATTING CLARK 5TH!!!!! Twice yesterday he came up with scoring opportunities and twice he did nothing. I believe he poped out and whiffed. Get him out, out, OUT!!!!! Manny continues to hit, as does Nomar. It was also nice to see Trot have a big day, racking up three hits of his own. |
