Liking Burkett so far

  • Note: This will be the last update on the site until May 6th, I am going on vacation and won't be back until then. Keep the message board active guys, it's going to be the only reason to visit for the next 10 days.

  • Burkett looked very sharpe again last night. If he keeps pitching like that, and we score him some runs, we're looking at 14-17 wins from the guy. Big IF, I know, big IF...

Question: Why the heck was Offerman at first and Daubach at DH? Jose's continued failures in the field could have cost us the game. Granted the botched DP would never have happened if Baerga doesn't make that error, and Arrojo was the one who served up the gopher ball afterwards. But why the heck was Dauber at DH if Clark was on the bench? Looks like a Jimy-ism to me.

Sorry, but this is a quick updated as I'm in the middle of packing and dreading the flight to Fort Lauterdale, so I'm going to end this here.

When I get back the Sox should be finishing up the away series with Tampa Bay, and I expect a solid 7-1 in the next eight games (maybe a 6-2 will be acceptable), but regardless, I'll be monitoring all from the cruise ship.
