The Terrible Trio?

  • If Wakes can continue to give us great efforts like that, our 1-2-3 punch of Pedro, Lowe, and Wakes could arguably be the best in the league. Ugie seems to be getting back on track, and outside of the rest of the pen being shaky (on a good day) it's not the pitching of late that's been the problem.

Two and three runs games aren't going to get it done against the likes of the Mariners starting on Tuesday. From what i've been seeing lately, I don't see anyone in a deep slump, it's just been the lack of big hits.

After a couple of wins you can't help but think/hope it's finally going to start coming around. But for the last two months, once it looks like the turn is within site, we fall off the ledge. If there were ever a good time to start playing well it's now, we go play the best of the West while the Empire hits KC for three.

No game today, boooooo, as mentioned earlier, Seattle tomorrow.
