Tired of it!

  • Absolutely unbelievable. It's like a bad sitcom that keeps getting played over and over and over and over again. This team is so damn anti-clutch right now it isn't even funny. Piniero is a good pitcher, but his last few starts have been bad, as was his first three innings last night. Once again we had a good pitcher on the ropes and got nothing, I am repeating myself here, I'm a broken record. Go back to the last few write-ups, there's nothing else to say. If it weren't for our sick 36-15 start thru May we'd be buried.

I think I'd rather be buried at this point to tell you the truth. At least we wouldn't have to put up with all this crap we've been getting since June 1. The clock is ticking, there's no more, 'well we have X amount of games left so we're still in it'. No we're not, we haven't been in it since the second week of June, this is all just one big elaborate illusion. This is why the games are played on the field, because if they we're played on paper we'd be ahead by 5-7 games by now. Unbelievable, the most talent we've had in a loooog time, and it's getting pissed away.

It's time to jump on Grady big time. I've been pretty reserved as far as his decisions have gone this year, I believed it's the players that have to come through. But this is flat out stupid, it was one thing when Tek was hot (even though we were all screaming to get him out of the #6 hole), but now he's back about as cold as you can get and he bats 5th? What the HELL IS GOING ON? Grady, you frickin moron, what the hell are you doing?

I'm glad I decided to go to bed after Tek grounded into the DP, killing his second inning of the night by the 3rd. If you were on the message board at the time I left a note predicting that since we choked chances away in the 1st three innings, that we'd only get 2 hits the rest of the way. I was wrong, they got three for the rest of the game.

"Hi I'm John Burkett, I think the problem is concentration... blah blah blah." If that's concentration then I don't ever want to see him late in a pressure situation in a Sox uniform. Desi Relaford? Are you kidding me?

I'm lost for words. There's not a single thing that this team can do right unless Lowe, Pedro, and recently Wakefield, are throwing shutouts. In our last six games we’ve scored whopping 19 runs on 52 hits. So over six games we're averaging almost nine hits and ONLY THREE FRIGGIN RUNS!!!!! Is there any better definition of anti-clutch?

I quit! I really do, if I have something better to do than watch the game, then I'm doing it. At this point I'd rather watch a preseason NFL game between the Houston Texans and Cincinnati Bengals over the Sox.
