I was out in the middle of the woods in NH over the weekend so I was sort of separated from everything that went on for Friday and Saturday's games. I thought it was huge the way they bounced back on Friday after the drubbing they took the day before. Is Lowe getting better? Saturday's game I listened to pieces of amongst the ever present static that is provided by the woods. After our 3-run 7th I couldn't take it anymore and had to shut the radio off, the constant, clear for 2 seconds, fuzzy for 10, was driving me nuts. So when I picked up the paper the next day and saw what Rolly pulled... ARGH!!!!! That's two starts in a row Fossum has been robbed. As for last night, Petey, nuff said. The bats are scorching right now, the non-bullpen pitching is insane at the moment (minus last Thursday), but we still can't get over the hump. It's there (a big W streak), you can feel it, it just needs to come to the surface. No game tonight, boooooo, six game homestead starting with Oakland tomorrow. |
