Patriots start in 3 weeks

  • Lets get beyond the catch Long made at the end of the game, you could tell he had a beat on it the whole way. I haven't seen any replays (don't want to either) but I'm not sure it was leaving the yard (though it would definitely have scored the tying and winning runs had it fallen in).

    Instead of a regular write up today, how about just a list.

  • Wasted start from Burkett, and against a very god team.
  • Made another chump pitcher look like Cy Young.
  • Is it me, or does it seem like whenever Shea makes an error, it ends up hurting us REALLY REALLY bad?
  • Is a big clutch hit too much to ask for once in a while?
  • Is Cliff Floyd cursed? Montreal tanked once he joined their squad, and we're 2-4 since he arrived here.
  • Manny needs to shave the head, he looks like he belongs anywhere but on the diamond.
  • Maybe this will be a merciful death to the season. If we're lucky we'll lose 10-12 in a row along with NY, OAK, ANA, and SEA all getting hot so we'll be buried by September and we can all stop stressing about baseball and enjoy the start of football season.
  • That, or maybe the strike will save us from further humiliation.
  • This season simply beyond sucks right now, even when we have a team that actually should win, it's the same bull SH%$ that goes on every year. I'm really beginning to believe that this is just the way it is for us. It's just not going to happen, yet, like a moron, I’ll keep coming back.
