Only a sweep is acceptable

  • Couldn't have asked for much more out of Lowe last night. 82 pitches over eight innings while pretty much completely shutting down the D-Rays. But this is how it's supposed to be against this team, like Detroit, these are games we're supposed to win, no excuses.

    Looks like Manny may just be ready to put everyone on his shoulders again. A couple more hits last night including his 2nd homer in two games. Climb on everyone, this may just start to get fun again.

  • As the heading states, only a sweep of this 2 game series is acceptable. Today's game (12:05 start) should be exactly the same as yesterday. As shaky as he's been of late, Castillo should still be able to handle a team like the Rays. What I hope the team gets out of this game other than the win, is a few more guys having multiple hit games. Starting tomorrow we're in New York for three, we're going to need the bats to wake up (all of them) in order to come out on Sunday still treading water.

    Have to take care of today first, no excuses, just win.
