That was supposed to happen

  • No pats on the back, the win yesterday was exactly what was supposed to happen. Though a dose of Petey to anyone and the result is pretty much the same around the board.

I'm glad to see Nixon where he belongs in the batting order. I have no problem dropping him against lefties, but against rightist the number two slot is perfect. Doesn't hurt that he's probably the hottest non-Manny hitter on the team right now either.

Three against Baltimore starting tonight (I'll be there) and the Sox will be facing a pretty tough pitcher in Rodrigo Lopez (10-3). If Arrojo is sharp, there's no excuse for not winning this game, same goes for the next two as well. Though we thought that before the TB series and look what happened.

Need to get some sort of momentum going, after the series with the Os the next 28 games are going to make or break the season. For the next month we'll be facing the entire AL West along with the best the Central has to offer, and another series with the Empire. Come August 29 we should know if there's going to be anything to cheer about in September.
