I want my money back

  • OK, so I really shouldn't be bitching after a win (salvage job) and especially after big Mo did his old team a favor and beat the Empire with a late inning homer to extend our lead back to 1.5 games. But damn it, I spent over $700 to go see the two games down in Atlanta and I got a whopping 3 runs for my effort. ARGH!

    Alright, enough of the cry baby stuff. Have yourself a day Derek Lowe. Seven innings of 1 run ball, a career high 10 Ks, his AL leading 11th win of the season, a hit, a sac bunt, and a walk. Is there anything he didn't do yesterday?

    Please let this be Trot getting heated up, please.

    Fossum no hits given up? Wha?

    Why does Offerman get to keep playing?

    For the most part, if Damon doesn't hit, neither does the team, he seems to set the tone.

    Manny had a couple of hits yesteday, one being a homer down in Pawtucket. Bring on the Padres.

  • With the flop in Atlanta, we need to heat it back up against the bottom of the NL West, beacause the Dodgers at the end of the week are going to be no picnic.

    Sorry for the lame upadte, but I'm still getting settled from being away for few days. I'll have a full description of the trip to Hotlanta with pictures up shortly.
