Winning = more fun

  • That game was shaping up to be one of those where we end up with 10+ hits and have almost nothing to show for it. Another big home run from Shea and another very good pitching performance from Arrojo. The pitching definetly hasn't been the problem over the last couple of weeks, it's been the lack of 'O'.

    There's a new update on the return of Manny, and now their saying he won't be back until after the Sox return from this West Coast swing, which pushes things back for at least another 5 games. Manny come home.

  • What a turn out of Sox fans out in San Diego, and the SD fans were actually alive as well. When I heard the 'lets go Red Sox' chants start, the Padres fans actually booed to drown them out (unlike Atlanta).

    Looks like Daubach is back in one of his 'I can't hit sand falling off a camel' slumps and until the homer last night Hillenbrand has been plummeting as well. The offense sorely needs a jump-start, a jump named Manny.

    Going to need some runs tonight for Castillo, he hasn't exaclty been sharp of late, and we know the Rockies aren't going to help us out with the Empire.
