The offense has been quite obviously sluggish, fortunately the pitching has not, save Arrojo. Kind of weird to say that in a game the Sox committed 2 errors, it was the defense that won that game, specifically Tony Clark. I'm becoming infinitely frustrated with his plate performance, and it really needs to pick up if we're going to get through the next 7 games, but his D was invaluable yesterday. Like SRYD said, we're all nuts (sox fans), as bad a day as it was, there was still a crowd of 32,000+ at the stadium that day. That attendance beats most teams on the nicest day of the year. |
