Something needs to be done now

  • I know I should be happy and all smiles about winning the first two games of this series, but I'm not and it's all due to the crap bullpen we have out there. We can't go thru the season with this pen, some kind of shake-up needs to be done and fast. Guapo, in a word, SUCKS! He's never been the greatest pitcher with inherited runners, and last night he proved it further allowing every single runner he inherited, to score. He's simply not getting it done, the box score may only have charged Garces one run of his own, but he allowed most of the others to score. We're scraping by the seat of our pants right now, and it's not going to last.

    I singled out Garces as the culprit of last night, but Fossum has done next nothing but stink up the joint and last night notwithstanding Arrojo has been just as horrid. We need to make a move, before things start to go south, to prevent things from going south. South = bad.

    Whew! All that said, we did win the game and that's the most important aspect of all. So how much fun was it to see Rogah have his head beat in? The crowd was certainly into it. Roooooooger! Rooooooooger!

    Derek Lowe goes this afternoon. If we can grab this game before Oliver takes the hill in game four, damn I'll be happy. What do you say Lowe? Keep the good mojo going.
