One more depressing thought

  • Last night on ESPN they were broadcasting the Dodger-Giant game and Berman and Sutcliff were discussing the ERA leaders in both leagues. Not sure if he qualifies now or with his next start, but by the end of the season it looks like Wakefield is going to end up as the #4 guy in the AL for ERA. What that means is that we're going to have the #1, 2 and 4 leaders in ERA and yet somehow we missed the playoffs.

    Only the Red Sox.
