Embarassing

  • Yeah, I don't really care that we won. The fact that the bullpen blew another one (Rey Ordonez? ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!), and the offense was stymied by a mediocre (at best) bullpen says volumes about where this team is right now.

    I know, I know, it's only game two. But folks, as we painfully learned last year, EVERY game is important, and if we're playing like this against the WORST team in the game... YIKES!

    The only thing that went right last night was that our deep bench was the big factor in winning the game. When your last guy off the bench is Kevin Millar you know personnell isn't the problem.

    Two games isn't enough to draw any conclusions about anything (15-20 before you can do that), but so far the pen is 2-2, and it's not the good kind of 2-2.
