  • Someone mentioned this before on the messageboard, but is Timlin out new Rod Beck? You know, not necessarily that good, but can pitch pretty much every day? I wouldn't want him as the closer, but he seems to be emerging into the 7th-8th inning set-up guy.

    Ah Petey, had us all worried for a week. Pedro shelackings usually follow with the announcement of an injury. He looked just fine to me last night.

    I want to comment more on how I love this offense this year, but I can't, it's way too early to get excited about how good that bats are going. They were on fire thru May of last year, so give me June this season and we'll call it an improvement.

    Toronto starting tonight for four. We really should win three of these.
