I'll stem any overjoy here as we all know it's too early for anything, but the plate discipline this group has shown so far has been nothing short of amazing (for the Red Sox that is). The pen has been better of late, but they're not off the hook by any means. The starting pitching has done a great job of keeping them off the mound lately. Brandon Lyon had a good inning the other day, Timlin has shown signs of stability, Fox has been better these last two nights, and Tolar has been pretty nasty in limited time as well. Hmmmm... Ever since Mendoza has been taken out of the mix (moved to mop-up duty) then pen has been better. I knew it, he's still on the Y----- payroll!!!!! |
