Nice

  • All in one shot we got something that rarely happen last year if at all, a late inning come-back win, and the reason we won was patience at the plate. When the heck was the last time the Sox walked thmselves to a victory? We haven't seen the likes of this in... in... in I have no idea that last time the Sox had a team the walked alot.

I'll stem any overjoy here as we all know it's too early for anything, but the plate discipline this group has shown so far has been nothing short of amazing (for the Red Sox that is).

The pen has been better of late, but they're not off the hook by any means. The starting pitching has done a great job of keeping them off the mound lately. Brandon Lyon had a good inning the other day, Timlin has shown signs of stability, Fox has been better these last two nights, and Tolar has been pretty nasty in limited time as well.

Hmmmm... Ever since Mendoza has been taken out of the mix (moved to mop-up duty) then pen has been better. I knew it, he's still on the Y----- payroll!!!!!
