Don't you love it when you hear someone tool all over a Red Sox player or the team in general and then that player goes out and has a huge game that day. My fair-wheather uncle was all over Nomar yesterday and suggesting that the Sox trade him. Needless to say, nothing needed be said after that ball sailed over the monster. As hard as it is to sweep a four game set, tonight's game is big becasue the next six are going to be a real bitch. It's our first real test of the season starting on Tuesday as the Sox hit the road for three in Texas and then three more in Anaheim. Then to follow that six of the next nine are against the 2nd hottest team in the game, Kansas City. Big one tonight, need to keep the good play rolling going into the next dozen, and then it really gets hard. |
