Holy Fossum

  • I fell asleep after four, but just looking at the boxscore you can arguably say Fossum had his best start of his career. No runs over seven innings, and only 104 pitches. Forget about the arguably part I said above, that was Fossums best start to date.

    The O did enough to win, and against a team like Anaheim, five runs is alot, so we're still scoring runs. Nomar is really struggling, I've never seen him swing and miss as much as he has lately. He'll come out of it, he's too good not to.

    Looks like Timlin isn't what we were hoping he was... any good. He's falling in line with the rest of the pen, though maybe, just maybe, Fox is stepping up.

    Considering how Burkett got slapped around by the Jays, I don't see how we can win today against the Halos, but ya never know.
