Just bad

  • I'm so speechless on how awful the pen is, all I could come up with is the above headline. Pedro has to be beside himself. Things have gone beyond ridiculous at this point that I don't even know what to call it.

The Sox have no chance. None what-so-ever of making the playoffs this year unless something is done about the pen. And I don't want to hear it's still early, or they pitched great in extra innings. Who cares! We're almost a solid month into the season and Fox still can't find the plate on a consistant basis. What the Sox need to do is take the pen and lead them out in back of the stadium, and one by one, put them out of OUR misery.

For arguments sake, lets say, by some freak miracle, the Sox do make the post season. I want someone to name ONE, just ONE pitcher in our current pen that they would like on the mound for the ninth inning, up by one run, in game seven of the World Series? Yeah, I know, wAAAAY too far fetched to imagine the Sox in that position.

In other negativity news: Giambi is Tony Clark. Millar is slowly turning into Brian Daubach (scorching hot, then stone, stone cold), and Shea is starting to swing at everything again.
